Hello everybody,
I bought Cyrano 550 last week. There was some pressure inside and I would like to add some more. I pumped 70 times but after I noticed that the power selector was set to minimum. Then I remember that while pumping it must be in max power selected. I will be able to test it 2 weeks later and I really wonder if something happened inside parts? And I am really new with spearguns. I would like to ask you about pumpig in min power selected breaks internal parts?

Thank you.

There is a non-return valve that lets air through even with the power selector plug engaged in the partitioning bulkhead, so the answer is no. Just makes it harder to pump the gun up. However the non-return valve gets more of a workout, it is there to allow progressive loading after a high power shot, not for every stroke of the hand pump where it will have to open every time if you have the power selector on minimum. After a low power shot the gun is easy to load, so progressive loading (more than one spear push to latch) is more for loading on a long gun after a high power shot.
