Nice looking gear Marco. I've not heard of the brand before but it looks good, robust - reminds be of some of the South African brands (Rob Allen, Rabitech, Orcas, Freedivers(?)). Will you be offering a railgun?

Cool looking website too, look forward to exploring it later. :)

Thanks for your words :) the gear is indeed robust and everything works very good, as i said before top quality gear only!

Well Absolute Blue is not a new band, however it was initial developed by a group of diving buddy's that produced and designed gear according to their needs for going after big fish in the blue, and for some time we only made gear by order, the brand suffered a natural evolution for a few years and now it was time for expanding and as you can see from our catalog i think we are doing OK.

Notice that we design and manufacturer most of our gear, everything is also tested under hard conditions and only after that we release the gear to the market.

As for a railgun is yet too soon to say, we are developing some projects but one step at a time ;) we have been really busy with some research and development of new gear.

We just finished our new Offshore Tuna Floats and the new Flashers (already for sale) i believe we developed the first dismountable flasher in the market! You can imagine who handy this can be when you are traveling or fighting with space problems on the boat rofl

Well we made a normal size flasher than can be fitted almost everywere and does not take more than a few seconds mounting and dismounting!

Meanwhile i leave you the link for our presentation clip

The World record link is interesting: Blue Water Hunting Equipment

Glad you like it :) and check out the side banners and you will find out a bunch of unregistered world records :)

In attachment i'm posting some pictures i have taken in the workshop of our Jellyfish dismountable Flasher, so you guys can have an idea of what i was talking about in one of my previous replys.

Lots of guys seems to find a flasher a item of less importance, well i have to say based on my personal experience and on opinions heard from lots of BW spearos that in most Blue Water scenarios this piece makes the difference between catching or not a dream fish ;)

;) hope you like it!

Cheers,
Marco

I don't know about fish but I am certainly attracted to them (same with lures):D. So this is the one that folds up flat/small for travelling? I saw a full size Rob Allen flasher in a store here a few years ago, similar to one of your other products - it was a real work of art. I'd quite like to have one just to hang up in the garage to look at:D.

Most spearos don't use flashers in the UK - the vis. is often (but not always) poor and the predators usually relatively modest in size - but a few have tried. I've made a few (nowhere near as nice as yours) but have yet to use one -- it's doesn't seem practical/sensible from shore. From a boat in deeper, clearer water - maybe. It'd be interesting to try it.

I see RA recently introduced a flasher designed to fit in-line with the float line - not sure which end.

trying to learn about flashers and if they would help a clumsy new spearo like me... just wondering what I should expect to be a reasonable price range would be for one of these?

Nice looking gear.

Roberto my friend, thank you very much for your comment we are doing our best to develop and manufacture the best possible gear for this kind of spearfishing.

Everything is tested under hard conditions before released to the market and we can proudly say that we 100% guarantee all our gear both in resistance as in performance.

Cheers!

Great publicity for you there Marco:)

yeap, but to be honest the best publicity we can get is the good reviews we have been receiving from costumers that are using our gear under hard conditions in Azores, Madeira, Guadeloupe, Cape Vert, Indonesia, Reunion...and so many other places...this indeed makes us very proud!

:friday

Cheers,
