That was an amazing one, octpora. Nice and gross School is going pretty well. If there's one place I always fit in, it's there. One of my instructors noticed that I was looking a little distraught (his words) and is going to keep an eye on me and make sure I'm okay. My first class was today. It was five hours long, but surprisingly not too painful. I made the rounds and reconnected with my counselor and several other folks. I feel like I'm going to make it through this . Did a ton of walking around Wal-Mart and am contemplating getting an electric scooter to ride to school. Now that would be amusing!

Unbeatable, now feel a truly happy officer's marble abdomen bouncing luckless environmentalists.

Surfacing for the moment

The little guy has achieved 2 momentous thing.... first teeth and first cold... all at the same time! :waterwork That means only one thing - NO sleep :zzz

Not to mention that there has been a major upset at my place of work requiring me to take over manageent of 3 additional contracts. 50-60 hour weeks are not unusual and we have made 12 people redundant (thankfully none of them who work for me!).... and I found out that my hearing is a bit on the dodgy side - high frequency loss in both ears (Is that a knock-out condition for diving? I hope not!) so I am testing hearing aids.... and I am only freakin' 44....

OK, enough whinging.....

I have slight high frequency loss in both ears too. My hearing is aparently that of a 30 year old, and i'm only 17! What exactly is the problem? Anything that can be fixed surgically?

I never take exception regarding ear surgery; tinnitus is no good! :hmm

I have tinnitus - ringing in the ears - mine's usually not too loud, but caffeine, chocolate, loud noises (obviously), will raise the volume, sometimes loud enough to keep me awake at night! :vangry
 
Where do you get tested for frequency hearing loss? I have tinnitus, but I my hearing is still extremely sensitive. There are supposedly some herbal remedies that reduce tinnitus.

To ingest normal niblets, it took us Saturday.
