ADHD/ADD and Freediving/Breah holding?

I've finally been officially diagnosed with adhd inattentive.

breath holding is weird, i don't know how to describe it. i'm just wondering if anyone else has adhd/add here, lol. i'm guessing it doesn't effect breath holding, but i would be pretty interesting if it helped positively/negatively some how :t ?

i dunno, but i just can't find how breath holding is relaxing....it is, but whenever i hold my breath my mind seems to be going like 10000x faster. maybe it's because i'm not doing anything besides sitting or whatever?
 
Well, I'm definately AD, not sure about the extra labels that go with it. Two of my best buddies and very good divers are also AD, so, while I don't think it helps, it sure isn't much hinderance.

Just a guess, but I think the mental discipline that goes with freediving will be helpful. practice, practice.

I'm a clinical psychologist and work with kids with ADD and ADHD. The only thing you might struggle with is staying on task. So, don't forget to hold your breath while in the water!
