Deeperblue and its mentors recognize the fact that many people acquire personal sponsorships and representative-type positions for companies and manufacturers in all aspects of diving. Although we welcome everyone to freely post on these forums, we would like to encourage people to refrain from "promoting" their sponsor, company or product here. If you still feel compelled to do so, please contact Stephan Whelan to arrange for an approved method of advertising.

Recommendations are usually from ordinary divers, and not an employee of the company. They're not trying to sell you something; they're just telling you what worked for them and why, and not getting paid for it. Sort of a virtual 'No Soliciting'.
