I'm new to building spearguns - all I have is a piece of 2*4" burma teak - and I want to ask some questions:
What tools do i need to shape the wood? How should I begin? Please share your experiences on the work process.
The handle: would it be better to shape the handle separately and attatch it later? There's enough wood to make it a one-piece.
What other considerations do I need to make?
Please enlighten me

Thank you all very much - it helped me get some ideas and motivated me a lot.

I'll be posting pictures as soon as I begin working..
