does anyone ( Simon?) have the new Aeris and know how to set the pool training settings for lap counter and interval timer.
Thanks,
Carla

Did you get answers? I've been using mine and it's awesome - you'll need to set the activation depth for two feet - it's off just a tad because you have to be at depth for a full second before it comes on - but very useful.
The Surface Recovery time (SRT) is what I use between laps - in the free mode config 'SET A'.

great thanks!
I used it (well, actually my student) for depth for the first time last week. Worked well for him.
Aeris told me they are working hard on a new "Pro" model !

Yes - it will go deeper :)
As I mentioned back in the comments thread - I've got 942 dives on my V2 now - really happy with it - especially the pool part.

What do you use it for in the pool? I´m thinking on buying a new one...

As Azapa said - laps and intervals. The V2 has setable depth and salinity - you can set it to activate as shallow as 2 feet - so it will count apnea laps in a pool as dives.

I haven't really used the D4 - but I like the setable activation depth, alarms and user replaceable battery. I don't know about the alarms on the D4 - but the activation depth is fixed and you have to send it in to replace the battery. I think it may have just one alarm. D4 is a good unit though.

Sorry Carla, I had never saw this posted, you should have let me know ;)

Covers that.

My F10 works perfectly in a 25m pool that goes from 1 to 1.5m.

If you ever get a funny looking dive time, remember (ok, it's a bit of a drag) to keep your watch wrist above 0.6m before your dive, and then after surfacing too. With those settings, and remembering that, your dive times and recovery times will be perfectly logged.
