Affordable monofin for beginner?

Hi, this has probably been discussed many times, but , here it is : does anybody have a recommendation for a monofin for a beginner, to be used for dynamic apnea in the pool to start with , but which could also allow me to explore some depths in the future. It also needs to be Cheap!! Sort of, as cheap as cheap is possible with this .Has anybody ever tried the Europalmus Mascotte monofin?

I haven't used that fin. IMO the least expensive fins are from Waterway. The big problem with monofins is shipping costs- they are big and the charges are usually high.

They sell out of Russia and Canada as far as I know. Very good fins.

Yes, Saltfree was my first place to check, but difficult to buy a second hand pair due to shipping: cost and a hassle dur to size.

Finis makes a Monofin called Tempo. Especially for women, sizing is 31-39 or something like that. You can buy them in germany for something around 60 Euro.

This subject comes up a lot and I'd like to make a comment. There are two kinds of monofins. Near as I can tell, the discussion of which to use is still 'up in the air' for speed and constant ballast but for dynamic, almost everyone agrees that they like a fin with a good angle. The question then becomes, 'Do you want to learn to use one style and then switch at a certain level?'. Not an easy question.
When I tried to learn the stroke we were not allowed to use a mono in the pool. One of the best divers in the world and a long time mono user told me that learning the technique with short fins was, in some ways, a good idea.
IMHO. You'd be better off starting with a pair of good fins than a cheap mono. I've seen some very impressive dynamics and constants with C4s and a dolphin kick. Might be able to get a used pair reasonably.
