Hi, all. I used to do a lot of scuba. Now I'm thinking of getting into freediving as well. It's a lot more fun now that I've got a kayak. I can be on my own schedule, and get to the reefs that are a good bit farther from the shore.
I grew up in the sticks of PA, spent most of my time in the quiet and solitude of the forest or near water. I could never get quite far enough away from the noise and racket of civilization. I therefore married a Brazilian woman and had 3 daughters. The oldest turned 4 in july. They're sweet girls, and my wife is far and away more than I could have ever even thought to ask the good Lord for. None of which changes the fact that a little peace and quiet from time to time can be a fairly welcome thing. It's so easy to unwind in the water. Freediving or scuba diving or fishing.
So, having remembered how relaxing the water can be, here I am. Time to learn a little, if I can.
See you in the forums, Don.
