Many congrats to this weekend's hardcore new freedivers....

Mandy, Virginia, Carol and Jonathan all took on the lake on the AIDA **/PADI Freediver Course! yesterday it RAINED all day YUCK YUCK YUCK, and the shed came in handy but today it was sunny and they realised the beauty of the place....

viz was a spectacular 10m vertical at least. We could see the plate from the top when we started. Water 16c on top but as the guys got deeper they found the 18m thermocline when it drops to about 8C.

Remi helped out and he and I made a few quick drops to 25m afterwards - got my weight sussed for next weekend so ready to rock! (and I ALMOST did a 2 minute dive... though it was much easier in Dahab!)

and after next weekend I gotta finally make my mind up about this mermaid.... damn this is hard!! Remi get your thinking hat on - you have seen them all in action!!

see you there, looking forward to it
