I'm looking for expressions of interest from AIDA Instructors who would be willing to take a couple of weeks from your regular jobs to come over to New Zealand and run some AIDA courses for myself and my mates.
Instructors must be english speaking and preferably not on the other side of the world.
Your airfares would be covered by the students. And while here in New Zealand you'll be billeted with Nelson Freedivers.
There's plenty of spearfishing to be had while you're here, and a bit of a tour around the country could be easily arranged for you if you wish (although you would have to cover costs of extra travel yourself).
As far as what courses we'd like to see run here. I'd like to do the 4 star course. And so would a couple of other people I know.
I've already had expressions of interest from a few members of my local dive club who would like to under go 2 star or 3 star courses and obviously more names would join that list should a course be confirmed.
The AIDA course if it goes ahead will be run through a local dive shop (making sorting payment etc much easier). And the dive shop in question has classrooms and a charter boat available if needed. But it'll be likely that some of the students will dive from their own boats in order to keep costs down.
