Aldi have a rod bag on their special offer shelf for £9.99. Just picked one up myself and it's the dogs sphericals for carrying a couple of guns up to 110cm aqd some spares :)

ALDI - Sunday Special Buys 1st June 2008

Hey Pastor. Thought I'd drop you a line to say thanks for putting up this thread. Thanks to you I managed to buy the last bag in a local Aldi to me last Monday and as you say, it's brill and a bargain. Not only has it loads of space and convenient side pockets for smaller guns etc, but if like me you spear whilst on hot med hols and need something to carry the gear from your room to the shore, it's ideal. I can even fit in a 3" one-piece wetsuit down the inside as it is just long enough to take the whole length of the suit and it is comfortably secured inside with the velcro straps.

It's very well made and stitched too!

Cheers buddy!

(N.B. for others interested. When I went to my nearest Aldi, they had run out of these bags so I went on their website to find out other local Aldis, phoned up Aldi main office (number on their website under Contact Us) and asked them how could I get to speak to these other local Aldis to check whether they've got any left (you can't ring Aldi stores directly!!!) The helpful lady at Aldi main office put me through to a local branch I'd suggested to try and the next I heard was the manager there saying he'd got one left and he'd put it to one side for me - and I went up a couple of hours later and bought it. That's Customer Service for you! Cheers.)
