Hi Guys and Gals!
Just a quick update on an incredible Spearfishing trip a friend of mine and I are running this October 28 through Nov 6th, 2008! We have just under 9 spots left for this!
This trip is exclusively for Freedive Spearfishing for big Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowtail, Dorado, and the elusive White Sea Bass. We have a website up with full details at www.SpearTrips.com.
This trip will leave out of San Diego and head 450 miles south of the border and 155 miles off of the coast of Baja to the remote small rock outcropping known as Alijos Rocks. Alijos Rocks has some of the most virgin diving around due to it's extremely remote location.
As we head south we will stop at San Benito Island which is reported to be like diving California 100 years ago. At San Benito Island we will run into large schools of Yellowtail and the elusive White Sea Bass. Then we head further south where the water temps warm up and during this prime time of year offers up big Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and also possible chances at world record Yellowtail (Current world record Yellowtail was caught at Alijos Rocks in 2003).
This will truly be the trip of a lifetime! It would be great to make it a truly international trip or at least more than just the California guys. And by the way, for any of you that travel to the DEMA show, the trip departs just a few days after DEMA and Las Vegas is a very short flight to San Diego.
