I signed up not cos I'm a diver but simply because of giant squids.

i was reading gonetobaja's thread, which I found through t'internet, and signed up so I could see the pictures.

I come from a small community interested, NO, obsessed with giant and collosal squid so any stories or information would be graciously recieved and shamlessley reposted.

Hi.
A real big (10m, 450kg) Colossal Squid was hooked by a patagonian toothfish boat operating in the Ross sea. It's headed to our local museum, Te Papa, so cant wait to have a look at the beast.
