Cool. It never ceases to amaze me what lies under the surface. The people standing around "up there" haven't got a clue of the beauty "down there". Great.

Thx man! It is a strange and eerie place to dive.... especially when it is not sunny... its creepy as...
Blue is up there, but if you really like weird, try Warm Spring, deep dark penetrations, boulders that are actually jelly, rivers that appear and disappear, bizarre tricks of lighting. A little easier to get to, Warm Mineral, dark, spooky, 84 degrees, and very deep. Walls looming up out of the murk, nobody speaks anything but Ukranian, etc.

Where exactly is this place you speak of? Tried googling it but Warm Spring Sink came up; is that what you're describing? Seems like a public swimming hole.
Warm is a long slog out in the swamp in Chasawhitzca (sp) wildlife management area, north of Tampa. Go to www.tampadiving.com and look in the list of dive sites, for Warm Spring. I've been there twice, bizarre place. Here is the second of two threads describing the first time I saw it.
