My name is Josh and I have been surfing DB for sometime now and figured its time to say hello. I have been living in Maui for over a year and have learned a great deal about the sport of freediving from the site.

Does anyone know of any freediving clubs or associations on the island where I could locate a dive/training buddy? Everyone I know on Maui who freedives goes in the water with the intent of coming out with dinner on the end of a spear or three-prong. Anyone out there on Maui looking to freedive without the hunting?

Although I am reconsidering the not hunting part given the price of fresh fish here... :)

Hello Josh!

I know that there is a guy with the nickname bill and he is in hawaii!
you should also post a thread in the Find A Buddy & Places to Dive section in this forum!
Good luck and welcome to Deeper Blue!
