I'm new to the board and was guided to here by a friend who is a long time board member. I probably will be a fairly low key board user but came here to get information from experienced free divers. I spend a couple of weeks each year somewhere in the tropics (seems like Mexico the last 4 or 5 years) and like to free dive and flyfish.

By the way, very cold water in Monterey Bay (50 to 53) for this time of year.

Aloha

Welcome bigcabezon.

No worries the water temps are always warm on DB rofl

cheers,

Aloha and welcome to DB! You wont find a shortage of info or opinions here!

Welcome aboard. The last time I was in Santa Cruz was '71, when I picked up my paddleboard from Mr Lighthall. Thanks for the memory.

Warmest welcome to a fellow cold-water diver! I was in your neck of the woods today, but at the other side of the bay in Monterey. Feel free to ask your questions, and to learn a great deal, because there are many knowledgeable people on this forum
