aluminium vs carbon recoil

howdy, what are thoughts out there re: the degree to which alum. w/its extra weight absorbs recoil more effectively than a lighter carbon gun? This would be for a "larger" euro gun @ 130cm. Thanks for any input.
 
for 130 you better to have carbon. In my opinion single band setup is inefficient longer than 110cm gun coz the shaft become longer and heavier thus single band will not do it justice unless you shorten the bands too much, but probably you could not load this short bands, even if you load them they will be inefficient when considering amount of force need to load and delivered force to shaft, shorter bands will have less lifetime too :) In my opinion its better to have proper 110cm doube band wood gun rather than single band 130 carbon. Long shaft will bent easier too :)
