Amico snorkel

Anybody using the sport classic model?
Any comments on it, would it be a good uw-rugby snorkel?
Also if anyone knows of a retailer as close to Sweden as possible, I’ve tried goggling without luck...

Look also for silicon models - I have one from Cressi-Sub made from thick and soft transparent silicon and I was quite happy with it when I played UW rugby - that's though already 20 years ago. It is soft and flexible so it won't injure anyone, and also does not transfer the shocks on your jaws and teeth when someone hits your snorkel.


You can also try the flexible Beuchat Tubair Activa. I never did, but I guess that due to its flexibility, it would protect your jaws well too. Just cutting and/or putting a piece of rubber hose over the rather sharp top might be nice and considerate to your co-players. The Tubar Activa is quite popular snorkel and you can find it in every better dive-shop, or in many online stores.

What you can do with all snorkels, is adding and gluing a disk of rubber or neoprene on the mouthpiece for better protection against kicks and hits.

Todays silicone snorkels are...let's just say "not so good" =)
Isen't there any db member that have tried this snorkel? (or have an old rubber one for sale;-) )
