in the most recent issue of ESPN magazine (18feb) there is a lot of coverage on Olympic athletes, including a profile of Croatian Slalom Skier Janica Kostelic (pretty good - 2000-01 World Cup Champ) . Listed Under the heading "Whacked Fact" is Free Diving. It briefly describes how she dives up to 100' off the coast of Selce, Kostelic. Just thought it was a cool little bit of info. Take it easy

Since I am from Croatia I feel obligated to post here!

Janica just arrived home with four olympic medals (three of them gold)!!!

Yes, both her and her brother Ivica Kostelic enjoy freediving.
Ivica made 30 meters constant weight!

Cheers!

Now, I know if I would like to learn skiing, I should go to Croatia also.
Underwater slalom skiing rules!
:))))):duh
