I'll be in Anaheim, CA on business for a few days around the 4th and might be able to squeeze in a day for diving on the 5th. Anyone know of any good places to dive near Anaheim? I'm not familiar w/ southern CA at all.

Thanks!

I'm new to the forum as of today, sorry I missed your query when it was current. If you're in So Cal again in the future let me know and I'll hook you up with some good South Orange County dive sites (Salt Creek, Moss St., Cress St., Crescent Bay, etc.) if you didn't find them on the 5th!

Can I cash in on this?

I'll be in Mission Viejo the 13th through the 23rd of Aug (dates tentative). I aready had Shaw's Cove on my list, but the more the merrier!

I was also thinking about popping down to some of the La Jolla sites (conditions permitting).

I live like 250 yards from Salt Creek. If anyone will be diving there
or in Laguna, post ahead and I will show up. FYI, a 3/2 surfing type wetsuit is perfect. So no need for some camo OMER stuff.

Cool, I have 3-2 for warm water and a cressi comp for colder stuff. I think that I'll wear the cressi if I hit some of the deeper spots a La Jolla.

I'll PM you guys (and a few other folks on my list) when I get out there.

BTW-- do you guys ever use this site (and is it reliable?): http://www.freedivingfilms.com/divereport.html

thanks,
mike

Speaking of dive buddies, does anyone in the South Orange County area want to(sorry) SCUBA tomorrow from the beach in Laguna? Shawish? It's OK we can freedive after, I just need SCUBA hours for a cert I'm working on. Sorry to mention SCUBA
in the freediving zone. (there goes my karma)
