Hi people - this is a very long shot but I have been trying to find out whatever happened to a great uncle's cabin cruiser called Ankitella which I believe he left/abandoned/sold in Guernsey in 1942 when the Germans arrived, I Googled and found an old item referring to her being owned by Roger le Poidevin - if he or any of his friends sees this could he get in touch! Many thanks

Hi. Did you find the info you wanted for Ankitella? If not I have some history to this vessel. Are you related to Capt Clarke or Harold Fortington perhaps. I can confirm Ankitella is alive and well after 90 years. I have more details if you are still interested. Brian
