Another case of dolphin/human love

This poor dolphin was rescued and nursed back to health by Tamara Monti at the Oltremare Water Park in Riccione, Italy. Tamara was murdered by her neighbour and now Mary G(the dolphin) is sick with grief.

That is absolutely shocking and indescribably sad.

Sad, yes.

This situation is also a beautiful example of the communication possible between humans and animals. So take the good from it that you can.

Just goes to show that we can never underestimate how much animals have the same feelings as we do.

I have seen a few incredible things over the many years that I have kept various pets. A couple of years ago I had two parakeets, father and daughter, both quite old. It soon became obvious that the older one was going to die. His daughter would not leave his side, and she put her wing around him, as someone would put their arm around a friend. She bit me if I put my hand anywhere near him. I left the room for a few minutes, and when I came back he had just died. She was trying to support his head. Then she let me take him away, knowing that there was no point in guarding him any more.

It was one of the few moments when I knew exactly what an animal was thinking.

I was joking. NAMDLA doesn't exist I suppose, but the title somehow made me think of ... physical love (as it's not unheard of) and I was paraphrasing on NAMBLA ([ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAMBLA]North American Man/Boy Love Association - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame])

(i'm not a supporter of these ideas and familer with NAMBLA due to a South Park episode)

oh, Well I is livin down in little ol' nu zeelund and i is not herd about theses things. were is 'south park' and why do people talk bout things like manboy love there?

Just kidding. We are not like that in NZ - I have heard of 'south park'. It was major news here when the bloody mary episode was on. The catholics were ready to march on parliament. In the end their protests gave the show so much publicity that it was the most watched program of the year! (we only have five free to air channels here)
