Hi everyone

Welcome from Texas! Shoot straight and dive safe.

Excellent, welcome Mogs. How about starting a "Jersey, Channel Islands 2009" thread?

Welcome neighbour.

Most of the Jersey (CI) DB members are members of the Jersey Speearfishing club. They tend to be quite competition orientated. Jersey still runs open spearo comp's unlike Guernsey which does not. I think that is the main reason why the Guernsey thread is so much more active than the Jersey thread. That said there are some great Jersey spearo's and I'd love them to participate more in DB. Then of course they have Apnea the shop that's gaining a good reputation for selling spearo gear.

So welcome brothers and us donkeys love you crapauds really.

Dave

Thanks mate - I tried emailing the JSC as they only had comps on their site, but rec'd no reply. Club Apneea, Club Apnea - Sustainable, Ethical Fishing , however, have social dives for 2009 listed on their site. I'll go along and if I get a good bass I'll feel worthy enough to start a Jersey thread - if not I'll have to defect to your waters! Thanks to everyone else for welcome
