I don't know if any of you guys have been following this story over the last week or so. Its the tragic loss of a fellow spearo in Indonesia while hunting dogtooth tuna.
Its worth a read and it brings home the dangers of our underwater activities we all love so much.
2 years ago i suffered a samba while diving alone so know how easy it can happen to you without warning.

There was also an item a few days ago about a Brazilian ( I think ) who shot himself in the face with a speargun whilst cleaning it ( apparently !) it went in his left eye and about 6" into his brain but apart from sight loss no major lasting damage !!!
