I never found the suit I wanted prior to the summer and then left it hoping to find a discounted suit at the end of the season (I am aware for some the season doesn't finish until the sea freezes!!)

Had a quick look but not seeing any discounts. Surely in this finacial market there must be some discounted bargins. Only any point in replacing now if I can find a good discount.

Pretty flexible but has got to be 5mm camo. I do like the comfort and flexibility of the Omer suits.

Anybody seen any online bargins recently?
I also notice the portlandoceaneering web site is down? They tend to be a bit pricey but was going to check to see if they had a sale section.

Thanks.

PM jimdoe2u, i saw in his website that the imersion black is in inventory overstock sale. Try the spearfishing store web site just to be sure.

I've been having a good look around recently for a new suit as well. Both my last 2 suits were "deals" and for a 5mm spearo suit came in at just under the £100. Last one was an Immersion cammo suit fron scubaland. However although the DB shop has had some deals lately I can't find a cammo 5mm for under £140/£150 by the time you figure in shipping.

In the end I have ordered a custom suit from Diveskin for £150-ish but thats MTM and includes shipping plus all VAT and taxes. Even a MTM Elios is only just over £200. Standard spearo suits in cammo at least seem to be expensive at the moment. Definitely some better deals on black suits.

Here's the thread including my Diveskin suit order http://forums.deeperblue.com/wetsuits/80555-question-about-lined-suits.html

Got a pair of socks, rubber belt and almost bought a pair of gloves !! rofl rofl but they only sell them in pairs which is a waste of money. PLUS Pastor would never let me hear the end of it if I bought a pair of gloves ;>) ! Some great deals on that web page

I got the Cressi tecnica in the end as I had been tempted by it at the start of this year but couldn't afford it! Glad I waited. Not only looks like a nice suit but I know my size in Cressi stuff.

Cheers for the link. Spag always seems to know the where to get the best deals. Saved me a packet also on my XXV Gold last year! Your the man :friday.

Is that the scubazar link above Pav. Is it all in Italian? Couldn't see a language option. What's the shipping like and are there any extra taxes on the 159euros (£126)?

Well I would be suprised if they even knew what the Guernsey flag looked like (see below) but get your point so thanks for that. Also I thought Lingue was a sort of pasta .

Somebody mention pasta? I love italian pasta!!! Maybe Spago will treat us to some original italian pasta restaurant ...hehehehe

Cressi Suit was 159 euros
Shipping 35 euros

Both prices included 20% IVA ? I assume this is a tax.

No other taxes paid.
Stuff arrived within 48hrs!! DHL AIR.

I also picked up some socks 13 euros and belt 12 euros for no extra postage.

Have only worn the wetsuit in the house rofl , but it is very nice!! I fancied this model at the start of the year. You can get into it dry, but not sure why you would when it is easier with a splash of water. If ordering be aware that a Cressi size 4 is not the same as an Omer size 4. I stick with Cressi as I know my size. It would be expensive if you ordered the wrong size to have to return it.

Cheers for the help. :friday

Happy for that, Pav. Yes IVA is a tax: Imposta sul Valore Aggiunto (literally means "tax added to value", or something like this). I think it's the same as english VAT, maybe?
Oh well, now get it wet!
