Hi Cindy and welcome

I am new to the sport myself - about a month or so now. Best thing to do is to make contact with a local club so you can learn from other experienced divers and get a good training programme in place for yourself. Also reading the how to frredive section is a great start - I found lots of useful information there and in the forums too. People here are also very willing to share their knowledge with others.
