any good freediving shops in south of France?

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
One of the biggest and best diving shops in France with a great selection of spearfishing and freediving items it the Au vieux plongeur in Marseille, but that's already little bit further than you may want to travel. There are though diving stores in all cities and even in most small tourist resorts all over the coast, and practically all of them are well supplied with freediving equipment too. Simply enter "boutique plongee Cannes" or whatever place you are in, into Google and you'll get plenty of links. Or simply open the local Yellow Pages and look for Plongée or Chasse-sous-marine. Or if you look for some items of a specific brand, look up the local dealers on the website of the manufacturer (or again with Google). Or even all that is not satisfactory - contact local freediving clubs for an advice - there are both in Cannes (websites cannes @ APNEA.cz) and Monaco (websites monaco @ APNEA.cz)

You could visit "Sub- Marine" shop, in Nice. The must in spearfishing/ freediving. Ask for "Nicolas", a great diver! 4 rue Beal/ Nice.
