Sure, start with the insults and then ask for help.

There are a couple of guys that I know of up there who freedive and they come to join us during Freedive-a-palooza every July. That would be my best suggestion to you- join up with us that weekend and you'll pretty much meet everyone who's active in the area.

You could also do a quick post to the mnscuba.com forum as we have a small section over there- but most end up posting on here instead for freediving info. I understand that there are a couple of newer freedivers who work/hang out at "Going Under Diving".

Fred, from North Dakota, hits the lakes by you on occasion as he has a couple of daughters who live in the area. You can look up any old post of mine for info on the freshwater stuff closer to you. Lake Wazee is where we hold the Palooza every summer and where a number of your local dive shops go to do their deeper training.

You can also look up past posts on Freeze-a-palooza for info on Freediving under the ice- posted within this website. This new Wisconsin section, on this forum, would be your best bet on info specific to this area.

You can post a question to whatever your wondering in here- gear, wet suit thickness, spear guns, places to dive, training, ect.

I hope to see you this July.

Jon
