any spearfishers around brighton?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Hello mate, I thought I'd answer your PM here, then there may be some more replies.
First I'm not the best person to ask, I'm still learning about this area myself, but here goes.
Yes Brighton can be quite good, hopefully the vis' will clear now the wind has died down, around the palace pier can be productive.
Fishing can be OK at Seaford, Newhaven right down to Bognor, the further West, the better the vis' tends to be.
The thing to watch for is the wind, East= no vis', light off-shore winds are much better and after any swell it takes a few days to clear.
Have a look at this thread Sussex Report 2009 you can get some idea of where to go and what the conditions are like, soon there will be a 2010 thread, but it's a bit early yet.
Hope this is a bit of help, use the search button or post any Questions you have, I'm sure you'll get the answers you need.

Regards,
Dave.
