Anyone around 16/17 years old?

Im looking for kids my age to dive with, since there's no one that I know that can teach my basics of diving

I want to make friends with other free divers, but everyone on this site is kinda old...

Hi lofrando, there are younger members on the forum. It is not always obvious who they are but they are certainly around.

Re. editing posts. There is normally an edit link it the footer of each post but it only available to established forum members (an anti-spam feature).

@lofrando - i'd get yourself into a club. Florida has lots of younger divers around.

Are you interested in Freediving, Scuba diving or Spearfishing?

Hi lofrando, Florida has a lot of DB members. You might also want to look up freediving classes and instructors in your area. It's the best way to improve your diving techniques, and the safety aspect is valuable.

As others have said, join a club and look for instruction. When I grew up in St. Pete, no instruction was available. My buddy snd I sort of taught ourselves, ands we're lucky we survived. To whet your appetite, here is a photo of me at Gandy Bridge from about 1953 when I was 14.
