We are landing in Toulon on Easter Friday, 8:00. Do you guys think all the shops will be closed? I'm really not looking forward to take food from here there, but I have been stuck over Christmas in Spain, and had 1/2 litre of milk and some unidentified cookies for a Christmas meal.

I need to buy gear when there, so I can't even catch my own food if everything is closed.

No worry, you'll always find something open. Some supermarkets use to open even during holidays, and when not, then there are small drugstores open most of the time.
