BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | Greenpeace 'heads off whale ship'

Whales, Whalers, Anti-whalers, Anti-anti-whalers...

[Whales are referred to as the apex or top oceanic predator. Humans have been whaling for thousands of years. Now cultural division has produced human anti-whaling fighting against whaling, supposedly to allow the whales to return to a natural state of top predator. But Humans are also consuming the whale's food all along the food chain, from algae to krill to small fish to large fish around the world. So the whales don't have lots of food, so large populations are not sustainable. Will they go extinct even if there is no whaling?]

OK so like whose counting! and what is a sustainable crop of whales.
What is a sustainable crop of krill??
To tinker with a puzzle without having all the pieces is irresponsible.
