It doesn't hurt to take a long hard look at yourself from time to time
and this should help you get started

During a visit to the local mental asylum, a visitor asked the Hospital
Director, what the criteria as to who should be institutionalised

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to
empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the
bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you
want a room with or without a view?"

Now how many of you got it wrong???

The normal person is a ficticious one, therefore nobody is normal. :D

Choosing between the given's seems these days the mantra.

I prefere no-boundry thinking, thinking for myself, critical thinking.
I'm aware that paradigms are made up by the information one knows.
Finding and checking up information seems a must in these demanding times.

Love, Peace and Water!

It probably would be fun to siphon all of the water out of the tub :D. They didn't offer that option.

Sedat. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the Prime minister and the President is Ahmet Necdet Sezer.

How about putting a beach umbrella pole in the middle of the bath. Hold it in place and blow on the water continuosly.

It will turn to ice (trust me on this one)

Then pull the ice block out, like a mega ice lolly using the beach umbrella

Carry it out of the bathroom over your shoulder.

Shane! you deserve the Nobel Prize!
How did everyone miss this option!!! :head

Drink all the water... it would take a long time, but it doesn't say how long to empty the tub.

But would you drink it with the teacup or the bucket???

Teacup = you're too danty for me :( .
Bucket = I'll save the seat next to me in the pub for ya :t .

Nice tubs!

I would question the context of the presumption of a problem.

Then quickly back to my car and go diving.

Or you could just jump in the tub and start practicing statics. That would probably get you admitted as a suicidal :D.

There're many schools of thought on this puzzle, obviously...

Unfortunately, pulling the plug would also be just as crazy. Now matter how much Prochlorperazine the lobster-people in the white coats put in my jello, I still firmly believe that if you removed that plug, the four seahorsemen of the apocalypse would surely escape and tell my secret cupcake wife that I can fly.

I can't prove this, of course. I've got a lot to lose. My secret cupcake wife would leave me, and the lobster-people in the white coats would find out I can fly and thwart any escape attempts. But mostly, my doctor said he would let me try and weave baskets WITHOUT a straightjacket if I just stop freaking out about the tub drain.

As for removing the water? What's wrong with you people!

Just close your eyes and cover your ears...and the water's gone!
