Maaaany years ago I came across a post here on DB where somebody put question: How you will know that you are a freediver? and put his own experience as answer - he went to skiing, got off the lift and while preparing for ride he spit into his googles.

I have another question: How you know that you are probably not a freediver anymore?

When you go for summer vacantion, then return and put wetsuit to balcony to dry and then you find it next year in spring during balcony cleaning.

Cheers guys.
Hope you all spend more time in water than me. :D

If I am watching a movie and one of the characters goes underwater, I hold my breath to see if I can outlast them :D

Edit: oops, answered the old question, not the new one

you can tell I am a freediver because I always try to do hands free equalization when a plane is landing or when driving down from skiing (never works though)

Ha ha ha.

When you have a day off from work, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the beach is just across the street, but you stay in bed all day. Then you finally get up and go to the fridge looking for beer as a breakfast. :hmm

Really? Why? Works fine for me lol

When you are spending significantly more time watching freediving movies than actually doing it.

when you dont feel diving or even thinking of it, thats the sure way you are not a freediver anymore . you love drinking beers and not getting wet on the beach .

You know you're not a free diver when the only time you think about freediving all year is when you get a happy birthday email from Deeper Blue!

(Of course, I'd just had a kid, started a business, blah blah blah). But I never stopped trying to equalise hands-free in the plane (it worked once!)
