Greetings

I have been reading quite a few references to aspetto style. Can someone enlighten me as to what it entails?

I am new to the sport and really loving it.

Aspetto is derived from the Italian 'to wait'. Ambush fishing is another way to describe it. You are basically waiting for the fish to come to you rather than finding them in holes, in open water etc etc. Look at some of Shanesac videos which are on some past threads and he practices this technique to capture some beautiful Dentex amongst other things.

Hiya Spicer
Take a look at this thread, it explains nearly everything [ame="http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthread.php?t=19700"]Hunting Technique[/ame]

Hi Alison,

Thanks for the great thread. Enjoyed it even more as I am a South African now living in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

Good Hunting
