Splendid fish Don. How do big mahi's taste like? Small ones are one of my favourite fish eatwise, but they don't get that big in the Mediterranean.

bl00dy hell!

Nice catch, how many are you allowed to take?

island_sands, 4 per person per day, 5 divers in the house. Must say I have had my fill of "crays" as we refer to them, correct name is West Coast Rock Lobster.

Ciao, I like the texture of the larger fish, the taste is the same. I love fresh
Dorado however even with fast chilling and vacuum bagging I find the meat
is not long lived in the freezer. I mainly target yellowtail, White Sea Bass and
local Blue fin tuna (25 to 40lbs). Wahoo are my holiday treat.
Ciao,
Don Paul
