It appears that another floating after the shot, mid-handle pneumatic speargun is appearing on the Western spearfishing market, the "ATAKA" from Samara (Russian Federation).

The gun appears to be a similar type to the mid-handle "Pelengas", but with the traditional wet barrel rather than a vacuum barrel system. Photos show the internal layout which I have added here.
Note that the line release is a retracting pin at the rear of the receiver.
