Anyone here using the Atmos? I freedive only, felt the Garmin is way overkill, but would consider it based on what you guys say.

The atmos looks nice to me. I have a watch already but been really wanting something with gps marking capability. I do find reefs on my shore dives and sometimes it can be impossible to get back if the viz is low.

gps is the main function I’m looking for. Any other watches that have gps and you recommend would love to check out.

I've been using one for a year now. I decided to shell out for one hoping I would never need another computer for at least a long time.

I really like it, especially the high contrast display, which is why I chose it. I mostly do freediving, and the display is just so dang nice. Has your depth, dive time, temp, and adaptive surface interval counter right there. Plus I like the depth alarms you can set.

I was mostly worried about Atmos being a new player on the block, and that it was from Taiwan. As I have a stereotypical American view on import stuff.

It worked great, up until I dropped the bugger on the ground fumbling with trying to put it on over my glove. The central button quit working. Oh, I thought I'd surely be screwed.

I sent it in to Edge Diving Operations, the US service folks. They were fantastic in correspondence and took care of me. Quite pleasantly surprised. Not what I was expecting. So I had to come on here and give them the Kudos. Special thanks to Chris.
