aug bank hols freediving camping trip UK

HI

Im a new freediver and new to this site , there is a freediving camping trip this Aug bankhols 2013 to Falmouth UK with www.freediveuk.com. I would love to go but i dont know any other freedivers in the UK, and i live in London. Is anyone going on this trip who is based in London and driving? i can help with petrol costs. Sounds like a fun weekend!

Hi LP, I am a newbie from London too. I have a car and am happy to share petrol. I am looking into the company you are doing your course with and they offer many courses – which course are you doing? Also, I have no gear – can you recommend anywhere in London? Thanks, James
 
HI nice to meet you, i already have an SSI cert for free diving, to join camp freediving activities i believe you have to have done a course already. But there is still time to do a course, there is quite a few in London i think.
I booked my train ticket already unfortunalty, let me know if you do end up going. Regarding equipment i have found www.scubastore.com have good prices but there are plently of threads on this forum too.

Thanks for the info LP – I saw that an SSI cert was required so I am looking at doing one asap. Enjoy the spear fishing course –*I'll give you a heads up if I go and I might see you down there... J

I just did my AIDA 2* with FreediveUK, would highly recommend them!

Also a newbie to freediving based in London, you guys joined any clubs yet?

Keen to get to the coast as often as possible to practice so let me know of you guys ever fancy a trip (unfortunately can't make the bank hol).

hi Pete nice to meet you, I tried a training session the other night with www.notanx.com was quite fun and nice people, the pool is in Queenpark. I think i am going to join the club.
they do quite a few trips aswell i think.
Would be great to out and down the coast more often!
