Australian East Coast

Hi,

My wife and I have been traveling around Australia for the past 15 months and have finally made it to the East coast.

I would love to meet up with any other freedivers on our way down the east coast (we are currently in Cairns). I've never had proper freediving lessens, just learning bits and bobs from Umberto Pelizzai's book a few years back. I'd love to meet people who could give me a few pointer/tips and I'd also love to try some spearfishing.

Anyone who's interested in showing of some of Australia's beautiful waters too me please don't hesitate to contact me!

HI Martin,

check pout Diversworld cairns on Sheridon street or Spear and Dive Cairns on Aumuller street. both spearing stores that can organise trips out for you with fellow divers.

also maybe contact the Cairns spearing club as well they have regular meets and there is always someone going out for a dive.

for pointers you can take a freediving course or find out when the buys are at the pools enjoy Queensland!
