Progressive Freediving is proud to announce Australia 's first ever depth only competition to take place over 3 days on the Australia day long weekend.
Comprising of cwt,cnf and fim. There will be a depth limit of 62m and overall best divers will come down to closest to nominated dive times if depths are even.
The comp will be split into a mens and womens competition to give everyone a chance to dive.
We may also run recreational grade comp for new divers and trial some new events as well.
The dives will be in lake Eacham in Queenslands Atherton tablelands. It is a fresh water crater lake which sits in the middle of lush rainforest.
There are cabins, services and a caravan park close by.
90minute drive from Cairns city.
Training ropes will be available leading up to the competition.
