Hi all,
I am originally from Austria but moved to Australia some years ago.
I love being in the water (ok, in warm water...), even bucket big enough will do - if only I had a buddy more often .. It'd be great if they grew on trees somewhere!
A few weeks ago I went to Tonga with some freedive friends and had the pleasure of swimming with humback whales. It was such a humbling, breath taking (won't harm..) experience, they were so close and kept coming back, I can only wish everyone they will experience this too one day.
We also did depth training and some fun dives, through caves and under an Arch, like Dahab's little sister (23m only
) Man I loved it so much I just wanted to stay there.
I always thought I would only like one discipline, say cwt. But so far, I just love them all, and once I started to close my eyes .. it is the perfect being in the now, everything else ceases to exist.
So I would just like to get better and better in order to be able to stay longer (who wouldn't), for those caves and arches, for wild life encounters, and even for the pool, strangely enough.
There are some comps in Austria in November and since I wanted to go back for Christmas anyways, I might take part .. apparently there are still some free spots at the lower end of the ranking
have a good day and hope to see you one day in the blue
