The Thorfin has to be the world's worst dive boat. Unsafe diving, contaiminated drinking water, lousey food. Captains little kids running around. Unprofessional staff. captain has the "Bligh" syndrom. Plus even though great wreck diving is great, Truk is an awful place. If you want to dive TRuk use the Blue Lagoon resort NOT the Thorfin>

2nd post I've seen in a few days from a brand new member who dissaproves of a dive operation somewhere and it's the first post on DB. I understand the frustration of bad sevice, especially on a holiday, but how about a few positive reports? You dive 8 trips a year, yes? Surely you can recommend a few good operations for the scubadivers here.
Welcome,
Erik

Of course there are many great dive operations. It is important to warn people of the very bad ones to keep them from an awful mistake. The Thorfin has to be the worlds worst. The best liveaboards we have used are the Nai'a in Fiji (4 times) The Spirit of Fredom in Cairns (5 times).
