Back-ordered, should I wait for Beuchat Marlin Carbon

hello folks. A month ago I placed an order for Beuchat Marlin Carbon HD speargun. It was out of stock, on backorder ever since. They (Leisurepro) changed the price for that speargun from 329$ to 500$. I think they would probably let me have it for the original price, but then, summer is here and I need a speargun. Is it really that good, and worth the wait, or should I change my order to something else? Most likely in my price range (mid-300) there will be only aluminum barreled guns, hence is the question, is carbon shaft worth the wait? Is Beuchat so much better than, say, Mares Picasso, Salvimar etc?

Yes its a good gun. But a 510$ gun,,hmmm not sure, but it is good.

Yes, if you get it for the original asking price as that is the basis on which you ordered it. Now summer has arrived stock should arrive soon as this is their main sellimg window, i.e. start of the u/w hunting season.

I suggest you contact them and ask. I monitor a few items there and sometimes they disappear for good. They indeed bumped up the prices despite USD to EUR is at 1.12 at the moment which is quite low. Maybe you would be better served to cancel and order from here:
