Just joined the forum today, so apologies for any etiquette errors.
I have lived aboard my Island Packet 38 sailboat for 9 years, nearly 20K NM.
I am in Puerto Vallarta, MX and will be crossing to Baja soon and sailing to the northern Sea of Cortez over the next 3 months. Would love to have another spearo onboard.

Free ride to spearfish Baja.......Im leaving late tomorrow, out of touch for a week or so. You could still meet me in La Paz or Loreto.

Hello! When this madness is over i will try to hook up with you provided you need company. Will contribute. My Mexico spearfishing experience was lousy - I was south of Cancun and hunting there starts at 30 meters. Huge groupers but got a nasty case of vertigo. When I went to Mahahual - sargasso took over and the water entry was impossible. But reef there starts at 15 meters.

Been "stuck" in the Bahia Concepcion area ( about 40 NM south of Santa Rosalia) for 6 weeks now. Ive spent hours swimming with whale sharks and plenty of shallow reef hunting nearby. Was supposed to be in the states a week ago but the port in Puerto Penasco is still closed. So I guess I will continue my social distancing here. Only problem: Baja seems to be out of beer!!!!!!!!!

Oh, dude, poor you! Swimming with whale sharks or observing whale-sized customers at Walmart - that is a tough choice!
