I will be stopping off in Bali on my way home from a week+ stay at Wakatobi Dive Center... an eco-resort in South Sulawesi that offers unlimited and wonderful diving (I was there last year). I'll have four full days in Bali... and although will have done LOTS of diving the week before, I'd like to sample (no more than two days) some good Bali diving... while still being in an area that offers opportunity to see the island's other sites. Any suggestions?

The best diving in Bali is over at Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. You can charter through a Kuta dive shop is you're in a hurry. There are expensive resorts on Lembongan or 10$/day hotels with breakfast. There are a few different dive shops on the Lembongan beach strip.

Thanks for the tip. However, I'd rather stay on the main island as we want to explore Bali for at least part of our stay. From one web site, looks like quite a bit of diving along the northeast coast... from Amlapura around to Tedjakula. And that would give us better access inland to the parks and volacanos. Other suggestions welcome!
