Hey guys, I'm completely new to building guns. I'm looking at making 2 guns over the winter (a 90 and a short hole gun) while the water resembles hot chocolate :( I'm looking at using bamboo as it's a darn sight easier to get hold of over teak etc where I live and having seen a few pictures of bamboo guns I love the look. Looking at using solid bamboo laminate flooring planks. Is this even feasable? I intend to obviously trim them to square planks and giving them a good sanding before I laminate them together with west systems epoxy. I would use other woods but sourcing them cut to the sizes I need is a nightmare and I have no access to a band saw to rip back planks to thickness for laminating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Go for it Ross... not a wood gun fan myself but always great to see them being built... I always find it easier to ask specific questions on other DIY threads but also post your pics up here for a better response... luck, light and welcome to DIY mate...
