This is a question for the euro gun shooters out there. I have a 1m picasso I want to start using. The gun has sat in a closet since my girlfriend gave it to me last christmas. I am not very pleased with the current config. and I don't really like the screw in rubbers but since the gun is a twin I have no other choice. The question is all things being equal. . what rubber thickness is ideal for a single 1M gun for maximun performance.Im upgrading it to 7mm shafts I've been chest loading for a long time so difficulty of loading isn't an issue. Im not sure whats best a shorter 20mm rubber or a thicker rubber of the current length. I want to get the maximun range w/out hurting accurracy... I'd really apprecciate any suggestions..........If any one has had any other experience tweaking this type of gun please feel free to give some tips. Im thinking of putting rails on it and rigging it with two RA muzzle bungiees and single wraps of mono since tangles are a big problem. Im not very happy w/the line release either... but Id really love to have the second shoot when hunting macks and other schooling fish where the school often leaves before you get to reload....
thanks in advance

Spearoo! Have you thought about changing the muzzle to one that accepts bulk rubber? They have a pic of a beuchat at bluewater hunter that they
tricked out with there euro muzzle and a rail .Looks preety sweet! bluewaterhunter.com

twin

Yup but the problem is that the gun is a Picasso twin. I got it for messing around w/small reffies. Im limited to a single screw-in band, I could pull a 22mm band but will it cause a loss of accuracy and what would be the best rubber thickness and length, for a a 1m ans a 90cm barrell . the stock bands are super hard to pull but don't give good power. I like soft wishbones best. I got the gun awhile back before the prices went up on diveinn.com so I got a sweet deal... The gun is going to be great when I get into Jacks or macks...

Now I understand .It's the double shot speargun .I haven't seen
any mods for one of those exept muzzle adapters that scew in the muzzle so you can tie your on bands .I don't have any experiance with one but it sounds like the ticket for schooling fish.

I imagine 2 X 7mm would make the gun a bitch to track fast moving schooling fish. Maybe you should try 2 X 6.3mm with 19mm latex sporasub bands.
