Last night (Sunday 30th July), watched The Tribe on BBC2... Ethiopian tribesmen spearfishing Croc's from a canoe:confused:

Now that's proper spearfishing!!!
You gotta get it right or it's gonna go really wrong.

Anyone else see it?

No my friend, we don't sit on Canoes throwing sticks into water. PROPER spearfishing is the skill it takes to become one with the water, understand your prey and then entice it into your range :t

There's a site called www.neatheranderalman.com you can visit if you want to know more about throwing a twig into a stream... Get a proper gun and get you butt down the coast with us you “always got an excuse not to come out and play” phish!

Peace

SD

Now, now,

It was the 'crocodile' bit I was refering to not the spearing from a canoe:)

And the last time I watched you entice fish into your range it was 2.5m long oceanic white tip shark and it was eyeballing your left buttockrofl

rofl Ok..ok... Maybe Croc is interesting game. But it dosn't take away the fact that I can't get you spearing down the UK coastline! Come sooon.. nag nag...

Oh yeah, the oceanic white tip sitting a foot from my back... The buggers always sneak up behind the second you take your eyes off them. Guess I was lucky he wasn't hungry (or maybe he was and I owe you as your shout saved me!? We'll never know, and I still don't have any scars to show for my encounters)...

Cheers,

SD
